Women!
By the time the LORD made woman, He was into his sixth day of working overtime.  An angel appeared and said,   “Why are you spending so much time on this one?” And the LORD answered, “Have you seen my spec sheet on her?Â
She has to be completely washable, but not plastic and have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable, able to run on diet coke and leftovers and have a lap that can hold four children at one time. She has to have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart -and she will do all this with only two hands.”Â
The angel was astounded at the requirements. “Only two hands? No way! And that’s on the standard model?   This is too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish.”Â
“But I won’t do that,” the LORD protested. “I am so close to finishing this creation and she is so close to my own heart.   She already heals herself when she is sick AND she can work 18 hours in one day.”Â
The angel moved closer and touched the woman.  “But, LORD. you have made her so soft.”Â
“She is soft,” the LORD agreed, “but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure, accomplish or achieve.”Â
“Will she be able to think?”, asked the angel.  Â
The LORD replied, “Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and negotiate.”  Â
The angel then noticed something, reached out and touched the woman’s cheek. “Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model.  I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one.”  Â
“That’s not a leak,” the LORD corrected, “that’s a tear!” Â
“What’s the tear for?” the angel asked.Â
The LORD said, “the tear is her way of expressing her joy, sorrow, pain, disappointment; her love, loneliness, grief and her pride.”Â
The angel was impressed.  “You are perfection LORD.  You have thought of everything! Woman is truly amazing.”Â
The LORD was pleased. “Yes she is! Women have strengths that simply amaze men.Â
They bear hardships and carry heavy burdens, yet they hold onto happiness, love and joy.  Â
She smiles when sometimes she wants to scream.Â
A Mom will sing when they want to cry.Â
But then she will cry when she is very happy
A woman will laugh when she is nervous.Â
She will fight for what she believes in. Â
And she will stand up to injustice. Â
She won’t take “no” for an answer when there is a better solution. Â
A Mom will go without, so her family doesn’t.  Â
She goes to the doctor with a frightened friend. Â
And she will love without conditions.Â
She will cry when her children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.  Â
She is happy when she hears of a birth or a wedding, but her heart breaks when a friend dies.
She grieves at the loss of a family member, yet she will be strong when it appears there is no strength left.  Â
She knows that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart or fix a scrape.  Â
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors, but her heart is constant.  Â
She’ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much she cares about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning, helping bring joy, hope and love. Â
She has compassion and ideals and she will give moral support to family and friends.
She has vital things to say and everything to give. Â
However, if there is one flaw in a women, it is this,” says the LORD, “she forgets her worth”.
