According to the illustrated dictionary and concordance of the Bible, the Biblical view of angels is that they are celestial beings, superior to man, subordinate to God, messengers of God. Spiritual beings that will take on human form to complete a task assigned by God! Â

Old Testament:Â Â 108 Times, angels are mentioned
Angels are mentioned in 34 of the 66 books of the Bible!
Angels are present during pivotal periods in the history of man:
1. Creation of the universe:                  Revelation 12:9
2. Proclamation of the birth of Jesus:  Luke 2:8-14
3. Rapture and return of Christ:            Matthew 13:30
