Hell flees! 1Peter 5:8,9

When we pray, the demons of hell, released on this earth, flee!  Satan loves it when we do not pray!  So pray, unceasingly!  Distractions will loom in front of you, but pray!  Ignorance that Satan does not exist will also loom in front of you, but pray!  When we are not acting like a Christian or we get overblown with being a Christian, pray!  If we don’t get enough sleep or we get too much sleep, pray!  Anything that is out of balance, the enemy will come against us.  He will choose that one thing that keeps us focused on ourselves and not on God and he will use it against us.  The power in pray through our Lord and Savior, in HIS holy name, is more powerful than the enemy of this world.  We must realize Satan hates us and delights in our sin.  But staying focused on Jesus, with the help of the Holy Spirit and the Sword of His Might Word, will defeat all enemies!

Book Recommendation

I would like to recommend a book that I just read that is very powerful.  I believe it is God’s word to America for today.

The book is “The Harbinger” and is written by Jonathan Cahn.  He is a Messianic Jewish believer and is head of Hope of the World Ministries in Lodi NJ.  The book is comparing the prophecy given to Israel in Isaiah 9:10 and the connection to America today.  The book was written as a story but he says that what is contained in the story is real and I believe that it is.
The notes at the end of the book give the names, dates and locations of the many quotes.  The book costs $13 at Wal-Martor $10 on Amazon.com.
     I believe that we are in the beginning of the end times as spoken of by Jesus and the prophets.  We all need to be surethat we are spiritually ready for the return of Jesus.
     In II Chronicles 7:14 God says:  “If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”  America surely need to do this and receive God’s healing.  There is an email going around that asks everyone to pray for America at 9 pm every evening.  We are trying to do that and pray that you will, too.

What are these scrolls called?

In 1947 the oldest surviving Biblical text was found.  When a shepherd, Mohammed Dede was looking for a lost lamb, he came across a cave on the shores of the Dead Sea. Inside the cave were urns full of  scrolls.  He tried to sell the scrolls in the market place for pieces of silver and ultimately scholars identified them as Biblical text and discovered they verified every single story from the Old Testament.  One year later the Jews took back Jerusalem in a six day war and reclaimed their land.

A Cup of Coffee! Matthew 5:40

The man slowly looked up.  This was a woman clearly accustomed to the finer things of life.  Her coat was new. She looked like she had never missed a meal in her life.  His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before.
“Leave me alone,” he growled…  To his amazement, the woman continued standing.  She was smiling — her even white teeth displayed in dazzling rows. (more…)
