Hiatus Over!

How much of a blessing is it to have a website to be able to share faith, share stories and share church!

It has been a while since I posted anything, but I am going to try and do better!

I would like to encourage all who are checking on this website for material to contribute how the Lord has touched your life, small ways or big events, it does not matter!

Submit your jokes, your stories, and then encourage others to read them!

We need to believe in the promises of the Bible.  It is easy when high on a mountain, when things in our life are going well, but sometimes we drop into a pothole of life and we are knocked off our mountain, by something, someone or our own confusion.  God will not give us more than we can bear, but the enemy is always there to scratch an itch we have about doubting, or fear, ready to tear us down!  But you can do whatever God gives us to do; because HE has given us the ability to do it!  God’s grace and mercy…..1John 4:4

So Much Hatred! Hebrews 4:16

For far too long Christians have been silent!  For far too long we have remained “still”!  There is a time to “Be Still” and let God work and there is a time to act.  Animals were slain to cover Adam and Eve, the clothes did not magically appear!  Moses had to keep his staff held high over his head to keep the water back!  The manna had to be gathered to be eaten, stomachs did not automatically feel full!

On and on throughout history we have had to do our part and we have had the past as an example of what to do in the future!  Learning from our mistakes!  What is going on in 2017?  Past wars are forgotten, past battles because of prejudices or hurts have torn families apart!  But, still we do not learn we cannot always have our own way.  There is only fighting when somebody is not getting what they want!  Today, selfishness rules; independent thinking with a focus on self, is the new normal!  Cell phones have replaced social interaction and texting has replaced face to face communication.

Then, we have the hate!  So much hate!  Hate for race, other than our own, hate for authority, except for our own decisions, hate for society in general!  Where is God in all this?  Exactly where HE was when Jesus was on the cross!  There was so much sin on Jesus when He died, God turned HIS own face from HIS Son, causing Jesus to cry out:  “Abba, why have You forsaken Me?”  Right up to that moment, God was with HIS Son!  Every minute!  But, when the sin is overpowering Jesus in our spirit, God turns His face from us!  We must stay focused on Jesus, not on the conforming to this world!

Jesus is waiting to overcome this world!  He has won the war!  He has removed the prejudices!  He has forgiven all mistakes!  Jesus has taken it all and when we accept all that, it becomes the “new normal” in our life!  Will you do it now?  Let Jesus replace all the hate, all the selfishness and all the battles raging inside of you!  Grace, mercy and Love will fill your spirit and make you soar to heights you never thought were possible!

Then, we want to share our new found freedom from hatred!  Do not go quietly throughout your day!  Shout it from the rooftops if you must, but be a powerful witness for Jesus!  Jesus did not go quietly into Jerusalem!  They knew He was coming and they threw Him a parade!  Let people know you are a follower of Jesus Christ and cry out:  “I am saved, by His blood”!

Then, stand back and enjoy the outpouring of blessings!  Because, they are coming!

Jesus is Coming, Soon!

This is the season to be thankful!  God has poured out HIS blessings so much on us that at times, we take them for granted!  God is good, all the time!  But, is HE good to us even in the dark territory that we often wander?  So when we feel there is little to be thankful for, God shows up in our darkest, deepest hour!  When we hurt, when we feel pain, when we get that call with bad news, a break-up, when we have a loss so profound we cannot express it:  GOD COMES INTO OUR LIFE!  HE feels our pain, HE knows when we have been embarrassed,  when we are facing the biggest challenge of our life or when we just got a brand new puppy!

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you for sending your Son, to die on a cruel, bloody cross, so we don’t have to go to the grave!  We can live forever, because Jesus took our sins, took our pain, took our bad news, took our hurt and it was nailed to the cross with HIM!  Now, that is what I call “good”.

Thank you to my supportive, incredible husband, Max.  He is always by my side, through sickness, through successes, through every good day and through every bad. I love you so much! Especially for your understanding how much I love Jesus!  Thank you to my beautiful daughters, Tamara and Tara, whom I depend upon to be actively in our life’s, bringing a joy and a love that is beyond anything I could ever express adequately!  Thank you to my brothers and sisters in Christ for walking the faith walk with me, attending my Bible studies, sharing the love of the Lord and accepting me for who I am, a child of the living God!

God bless Canada and God Bless America!

Freedom from Hurt!

Hurt can be turned into Hope!  When you have been hurt, especially by someone you trust or love.  God can replace your pain, with gain!  If you turn your pain over to God, give it to HIM, HE will give you double for your gain!  There is release and freedom from the responsibility of holding onto pain.  There is freedom in letting go of something or someone who has hurt us.  I experienced that about my own mother betraying myself and my family.  But, the more I gave it to God, and I admit it took time and prayer, the less pain I felt.  Freedom, I love it, that God will take all that pain I felt at betrayal and HE replaced it with hope, knowing it is all in God’s hands!

Jesus is such a comfort, when reading His Word!  Seeing how Jesus was betrayed by HIS closest friends at a time when He needed them most!  There was a real sense of knowing my Best Friend, the Friend that never leaves us nor forsakes us, nor has ever betrayed us; He is right beside us all the time!  All we have to do is reach out and hand it over to Him.  The pain does diminish, does melt away, replaced with joy, hope, laughter!  Galatians 1:9

Prayers Answered

There is one thing that really excites me!  I can get on my knees and pray for you!  I lift up my voice to God and call out your name!  The Bible teaches all prayers are heard in Heaven; all prayers are heard when in Jesus Name!  We pray up and leave our prayers at the Throne of God! It is not necessary to hear back from God right away!  That is when disbelief sets in; if we do not feel our prayers are answered!  But they are!  It just means no answer could mean God is working on something better and what you may think you want right now, you should not have right now!

Often we can look back and see how much we may have wanted that one thing so bad; but then we realize it is such a good thing God did not give us everything we wanted.  Because as time went by, it was best we did not get the prayer answer we wanted!  But God gave us what we needed!  Luke 18:12 I know that God hears your name, in prayer, and that is good enough for me!  Starting a prayer line on this blog, will help!  All prayers help!
