Preserve Me, O God!! Ps 16
David’s trust in the Lord inspires Christians today!
We are not to lean on our own understanding. The Bible tells us our God is so trustworthy that we must put our confidence in HIM!
God proved His love for us by sending Jesus to redeem us from everlasting damnation. Because of disobedience, because Adam and Eve turned their back on God and disobeyed HIM, we must pay an everlasting price. But, because God loved us so much, we wanted us to be with Him so badly in Heaven, He sent Jesus to pay a price for our disobedience. Christ’s suffering freed us from our disobedience. We are redeemed! And when Christ died for us to keep us from everlasting damnation; He bought our freedom! We now have a choice: everlasting damnation/everlasting life!
ONE CONDITION: We must choose Jesus Christ while we are here on earth….not after we die. We must have the faith that Christ paid for our disobedience on the cross, while we are still living on earth…..only then will be have the blood of Christ pay for our sins and give us entrance into everlasting life! Whew! How easy is that? Simple–Say this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I know you are the Son of the Living God! I know you died for my sin! I ask you to forgive me for my disobedience! I ask you to come into my life and be my Lord and Saviour! Amen!
Done! Now walk in faith, not in sight!
